No more "Rosetta"
:-(
In the latest version of Mac's OS a piece of technology was removed.
It was called Rosetta, and it was part of Mac OS X for Intel operating systems
prior to Lion.
Rosetta was a lightweight and dynamic binary translator for Mac OS X which Apple released in 2006 when it transitioned the Macintosh from PowerPC to Intel processors. It allowed pre-existing software to run on the new systems without modification.
It dynamically translated most PowerPC-based applications to work with Intel-based Macs.
Many of Kutoka's products rely on Rosetta, and work beautifully in OS X up to and including 10.6. Unfortunatly most of our products need to be updated in some way for 10.7.
